Mitch and Sharon are great folks. Don’t get me wrong, Driver Staff is a business, but they always made me feel more like family then a disposable commodity! They were attentive, not only to my needs, but the needs of my family.

What I loved about working for Driver Staff was the flexibility and that it afforded me the opportunity to try different companies. Several of the companies I was assigned to were interested in hiring me (if you are responsible & hard working, it doesn’t take long!), but because I was making a decent pay check at Driver Staff, I was not under pressure financially to take a job I really didn’t want. (You have probably been there yourself!)

Because Mitch & Sharon LISTEN, (and are really working for you as much as you are working for them), they knew what I was looking for in a job. When a position came open that matched what I was looking for, they sent me to work there. I had to show the company that they had assigned me to that I was dependable, trustworthy, and physically capable of performing the tasks that they required…and I did! That was about three years ago.

The company I work for now is wonderful! My job provides me with excellent pay & benefits, as well as a lot of time for my wife and family. My employer cares about their employees and furnishes their drivers with great equipment & resources. It is definitely the best driving job I have ever had! I would have never found this job on my own!

“Driver Staff is a family owned and operated company, both of which –the company and the family– are good to work for. They kept me busy when I wanted to be, and since it’s a temporary service I also had the option to not-work if I had other things to take care of (so long as I hadn’t committed to a job already; you take a job, then you’re obviously obligated to do what you said you’d do). They pay fair wages (with overtime pay on hourly jobs, as well as higher pay on various jobs that demand more than the regular rate)… and I even got a raise within the first month or so! Any disputes or adjustments in regards to settlements (simple payroll mistakes/miscalculations) were quickly resolved, and I never felt like I’d gotten “ripped off” or taken advantage of like I have with so many other companies; there were actually a few times when I made more than I thought I was going to because I didn’t even know the job paid higher than usual when I took it, or there was an extra pay of some sort that I didn’t know about.

The companies they do business with –the ones that I worked for, at least– all seemed to be good places and good people to work for as well (with only one exception, which may have only been my own personal experience with the place), and I had quite a few opportunities to go full-time with some of them if I had wanted to.

All in all, Driver Staff is a great place to work for, and I haven’t said that (or anything even remotely close to being a compliment, for that matter) about “ANY” trucking company or logistics-related company I’ve worked for before. In fact, I’m still on their payroll for if I have some extra time and want some extra work although I hired on full-time with one of the companies they had me working with.”
